At Colorado Elk Adventures, you'll hunt on some of the best hunting ground in Colorado.

Colorado Elk Adventures offers guided hunts for archery, muzzle loader and rifle. Elk, deer, moose, antelope, bear and coyote are present with the majority of the hunting concentrated on elk and mule deer. All hunting is available with the proper licenses. All of our hunts are fair chase, utilizing tree stands and blinds.

The hunting is conducted on the Thompson Ranch in Game Management Unit (GMU) #17. A beautiful 2,500 acres located southwest of Rand Colorado, in the North Park region of the Rocky Mountains. Elevation ranges from 8500 to 9000 feet. Lodge pole pines and aspen cover the mountains. Hay meadows, native grass, willows and sage complete the terrain. Routt National Forest borders the ranch. This National Forest consists of over 1 million acres, not all of which are in Unit #17.
